End of a Chain: Resilient Food System on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula

End of a Chain: Resilient Food System on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula

In 2024 we had the honor of meeting the team at the Iowa Cooperative Extension at the Harvest Moon Festival in Soldotna where we were selling our birch syrup. We were able to give them a tour of the land we were leasing at the time for our birch sap harvesting and got to show them where we make our syrup. In 2025 they returned to Alaska and interviewed us along with a group of INCREDIBLE growers and harvesters here on the Peninsula. They put together a documentary as part of their food resilience research program and we’re excited to be part of it and even more excited to share it with you all.
